If so, we think that you should apply for our Software Developer vacancy right away. At the same time, we understand that you probably want to know a bit more about the position, so here it goes:

As a Software Developer, you will work on the 247TailorSteel concept in a multidisciplinary team. This entails everything from the front end to (production) process automation. Of course, you will specialize in a particular area, but you will be able to handle all the tasks that the team handles. Our software is developed entirely in house.

We ask that you possess the following traits:

  • You are intelligent, technically proficient, and analytical. Capacity to think and work at the HBO/WO level is required.
  • You have insight and interest in automating and innovating IT and production processes.
  • You are in your element with object-oriented development, preferably in C#.

It would also be great if you:

  • Are communicative, enthusiastic, and handle stress well.
  • Enjoy keeping your knowledge up to date and following shifts in the market.
  • Have a proactive attitude, take initiative, and are comfortable asking colleagues for help.

It would be great if you were already familiar with the programs in the list below, but don’t be scared off if you see anything that you don’t recognize. If you have the traits mentioned above, then you will learn the skills below soon enough.

  • We use the following tools: Visual Studio, TeamCity CI, and Octopus Deploy.
  • Front end: TypeScript, Angular2, and WebGL.
  • Back end: C#, microservice architecture, RabbitMQ (MessageBus), and Entity Framework (ORM).
  • CAD kernel: OpenCascade.
  • ERP: Microsoft Dynamics NAV.

The Grand Café is where we relax before, during, and after work. Our employees can grab a cup of coffee, take a piece of fruit, and find a nice spot in this stylish, industrial space. Is the sun out today? We’ll be heading out too!

At 247TailorSteel, we work with advanced machinery. With eight CO₂ laser cutting machines, sixteen fiber laser cutting machines, and four Adige laser tube cutting machines, we have all the technology in house. Will you be the one to operate these machines? We bend steel 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This is only possible with the best machines. That is why the production halls at 247TailorSteel are equipped with 12 LVD Toolcell press brakes. These are top-tier press brakes that feature a variable-degree angle setting, sheet thickness designation, and automatic tool change.

Our location in Varsseveld is easily accessible, has sufficient parking for cars, and a covered area to park your bicycle. Do you prefer to travel by public transport? Varsseveld has a train station and is located along several bus lines. The train station is just a ten-minute bike ride away!
