The sheet restores itself. In some cases, a small rust spot may appear. This eventually turns white and passivates (corrosion zinc oxide/zinc hydroxide, full protection). The rust spot will then disappear.
When used untreated, “angel hair” may appear at the edges. If this occurs, the effect is purely optical and temporary. After varnishing it is no longer visible.
