Production at the new factory in Hilden has started

The day has finally arrived! After months of hard work, the production at our new factory in Hilden (DE) has started! Over the past few weeks, the lasers and bending machines have been installed, the offices painted and during the next few days, the finishing touches will be made. The new employees have been trained and are ready to start the 24/7 laser cutting and bending for our customers.

With the new production facility in Hilden, the machine park of 247TailorSteel now counts 37 laser cutting machines and 20 bending machines on a total production floor of 36,000 m². At the start, Hilden will have 3 laser cutting machines, 2 bending machines and a machine for deburring on a production floor of 10,000 m². The construction of the new factory will initially create 35 new jobs, but in the medium term, roughly 130 new employees are expected.

Thanks to the new production facility, our growing number of customers will benefit from even better service and faster delivery. Customers can place orders in our online portal Sophia® 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and let them deliver within 48 hours or at the timeframe they choose.
