Construction of new 247TailorSteel production facility in Germany has started
On 23 September, construction started on our new production facility in Langenau, located between Stuttgart and Munich. The attendees at the groundbreaking included the Consul General in Germany Paul IJmkers, Mayor of Langenau Daniel Salemi, and CEO of 247TailorSteel Carl Berlo. During the official programme, the spade literally broke ground, marking the official go-ahead for the construction of the new production facility.
The new production facility is expected to be fully operational by the autumn of 2022. In a production space of 15,000 m2, twelve flatbed lasers, ten tube lasers and twelve bending machines will be installed in phases. This will give the customers of 247TailorSteel in Southern Germany and Austria even better service and faster delivery.
The goal behind this expansion is to increase the market share and production capacity for customers in Southern Germany and Austria and to achieve the ambition to serve customers within a radius of 200 kilometres. The new production facility in Langenau is yet another great milestone and major step in this direction.
