Major celebration to mark opening of new factory in Oud Gastel

The festive opening of 247TailorSteel’s newest location took place on 14 June. Our new production facility in Oud Gastel was opened with a party after months of preparations. Customers, suppliers, contractors and other business partners marked this milestone in the Tube Hall, which had been specially decorated for the occasion.

More than 160 guests attended this special celebration. After coffee and cake were served, plant manager Eric Hengst warmly welcomed the visitors and announced the speeches by Martijn van Gruijthuijsen, a representative of the provincial administration, and Carl Berlo, our CEO. Following this, 247TailorSteel's largest location was opened with the push of a button and a huge cloud of confetti.

Visitors had the opportunity to join a guided tour of the production halls, where they could learn about our modern equipment. Finally, the guests received a souvenir: a set of Corten steel birds made from sheet material fabricated in our own plant.

With the opening of the new production facility, 247TailorSteel’s range of machinery has expanded to include more than 50 laser cutting machines, 40 bending machines and 20 tube laser cutting machines. With a production area of 40,000 m², the factory is the company’s largest location. The location has initially been equipped with five laser cutting machines, four bending machines, four tube laser cutting machines and two deburring machines. With the opening of this second location in the Netherlands, we can offer our customers in the southern Netherlands and northern Belgium even better service and faster delivery of our high-quality products.
